Khách sạn 3 sao ngay trung tâm, nhưng website cũ không có bảng giá, không có nút đặt phòng, và không dùng được trên điện thoại — nên gần như toàn bộ khách đến từ các ứng dụng đặt phòng, nơi ăn 15-20% mỗi đêm. Bản mới đặt việc đặt phòng trực tiếp lên trước, giá phòng ghi rõ, và nói thẳng lợi ích đặt thẳng thay vì qua ứng dụng.
Nhà sản xuất puly và bánh răng bán cho nhà máy. Khách B2B luôn tra Google rồi mới gọi báo giá — mà thứ họ tìm thấy là một trang Google Sites nền xanh chói, có tấm ảnh puly dán mắt hoạt hình kèm chữ BIG SALE, 76 lỗi trong trình duyệt. Bản mới dựng catalogue phân loại rõ ba nhóm sản phẩm, cam kết báo giá trong 4 giờ, và một biểu mẫu gửi bản vẽ đặt ngay chỗ khách đang cần.
Trung tâm dạy bốn thứ tiếng, hoạt động hơn 15 năm, lịch khai giảng vẫn cập nhật đều. Nhưng website hiện tại không hiện được một tấm ảnh nào — kể cả logo — nên phụ huynh mở ra chỉ thấy mảng trắng rồi thoát. Bản mới cố ý dựng không phụ thuộc ảnh: học phí từng khoá ghi rõ dạng thẻ, lịch khai giảng và số chỗ còn trống thấy ngay, nút đăng ký học thử đặt đúng chỗ phụ huynh đang phân vân.
Đồ gỗ là ngành mua bằng mắt — ảnh đẹp quyết định khách có nhắn hỏi giá hay không. Xưởng này có sẵn ảnh gốc nét 1280 điểm ảnh, nhưng website đang thu nhỏ hết còn 244 nên nhìn mờ, lại nhồi hơn 100 sản phẩm và 20 danh mục con vào cùng một trang. Bản mới đi ngược lại: ít món hơn trên mỗi màn, ảnh lớn hết cỡ, để món đồ tự nói.
